About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our E-commerce team. As a E-commerce Category Manager for Austria, you will own the Sales performance of your market from end to end. You’ll define the strategy, drive growth, and shape the customer experience. You will be a key player in our E-Commerce Europe team, contributing to cross-country and cross-functional initiatives, with regular exposure to senior leadership. You'll report to Austria's Country Manager and work closely with teams across Emma, ranging from Global Marketing, Business Excellence, Category Management to Operations and our other Ecommerce country teams.

What You'll Do:

Own the P&L of all 3 Product Categories in Austria with a focus on profitable growth and margin expansion.
Define and execute the category strategy for our categories (Mattresses, Beds, and Accessories)—adapting the global assortment to the Austrian market and uncovering new segment opportunities.

Drive Pricing Excellence: Own the local pricing strategy across channels and products to maximize revenue and margin.

Lead Go-To-Market Initiatives for new product launches in Austria, collaborating with Global Product Success, Sourcing, Marketing, and UX teams.

Manage the Full Product Lifecycle: Plan and coordinate phase-ins/phase-outs for a timely and cost-effective portfolio evolution.

Run Campaign & Commercial Planning in alignment with your Marketing counterpart, ensuring an impactful promotional calendar.

Partner with the Regional Webshop Team to improve digital conversion and category presentation.

Collaborate with Operations and Sourcing to improve cost structure and supply performance for the Austrian market.

Who We're Looking For:

Fluency in English and German required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance or Engineering.
4+ years of experience in Category Management, Business Strategy, or Consulting — ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.
Proven P&L ownership or significant contribution to commercial performance.
Strategic, analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen — you understand pricing, margin drivers, and portfolio management.
Business ownership mentality: you take full responsibility, act decisively, and identify growth opportunities proactively.
Cross-functional executor: you align teams, manage dependencies, and follow through with high standards.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-scaling environment.

The opportunity to create real impact, take ownership and accountability, and drive meaningful change.
Continuous learning and development through hands-on experience, mentoring, formal training, and access to tools such as our Learning Hub and Nilo.
A collaborative community of smart, driven people where you learn, contribute, and connect, every day and through team events.
A global environment, working daily with diverse perspectives across 4 offices and 70+ nationalities.
25 vacation days per year, with 1 extra day per year worked (until a limit of 30 days per year).
A flexible hybrid setup with up to 22 remote days per quarter, and offices in Gutleutviertel - Frankfurt.

We are on a mission to become No.1 in the world of sleep, and we’re looking for driven, ambitious people to help us shape what’s next. If you’re curious, hands-on, and ready to challenge the status quo, you’ll find the space here to make things happen and create real impact.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We celebrate diversity and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, ethnic origin, religion or belief, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.

Our aim is to get back to you within a few days. Due to the high volume of applications, there may be slight delays, but we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
