Mission Brief

As a Propulsion Design Engineer, you will drive the development of engine hardware from initial concept through qualification and production. You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and integration of engine structural components, piping, and subsystem packaging, with a strong focus on component placement, mass optimisation , and manufacturability. This includes defining engine architecture, optimising routing and interfaces, and developing design solutions that reduce weight, part count, and costs, while ensuring performance and reliability. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and a strong understanding of engine architecture and system-level integration.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

Design and develop engine hardware and fluid routing using CAD tools, including detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
Drive the iterative development and continuous optimisation of flight-proven hardware.
Implement engine layout improvements while complying with engine functional requirements.

Define and manage interfaces with adjacent systems and collaborate closely with fluid system, combustion, structures, manufacturing, and testing teams.

Perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure component performance and system reliability.
