Your Role

With us, you have the opportunity to perfectly combine your studies with practical experience while actively contributing to exciting projects. This allows you to gain valuable skills, expand your network, and grow both professionally and personally.

• You support an advanced development team in the design, prototyping, and testing of an innovative eye implant
• Prepare and conduct mechanical and functional tests using laboratory test equipment
• Work with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, measurement equipment, and data-acquisition systems. Support the troubleshooting and continuous improvement of hardware and software components
• Develop, read, and adapt Python code for test automation, device control, data acquisition, and data analysis
• Support hands-on laboratory activities, including prototype assembly and the handling of small, sensitive components of the eye implant
• Contribute to the design and adaptation of prototype components and test fixtures using Creo Parametric
• Evaluate and document test results in a clear and structured manner.
• Conduct scientific and technical literature research

Your profile

• Ongoing studies in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Programming experience in Python and the ability to understand, modify, and develop existing code
• Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, measurement systems, electronics, or data-acquisition systems
• Interest in combining software development, hardware integration, and experimental testing
• Willingness to perform hands-on laboratory and prototyping work.
• Structured and analytical approach to experimental work and data evaluation
