(m/w/d) -

ll-Time Job

We’re looking for a true technical partner, not just a developer. Someone with strong architecture skills, product intuition, and cost-aware engineering sense who can co-lead the evolution of our platform.

Immediate Priorities (first 6 months)

• Prototype LLM-based assistants
• Develop lightweight front-end interfaces (React/TS) and APIs to test fast with pilot partners.
• Set up modular AWS workflows (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EventBridge, S3) for scalable deployments.
• Ensure pragmatic, cost-conscious engineering decisions aligned with product milestones.

Long-Term Scope

• Technical vision & strategy : shape the architecture of a cloud-native SaaS platform.
• API-first infrastructure : design scalable, secure APIs for simulation and agent workflows.
• Product-driven engineering : turn complex requirements into clean, modular features.
• Company-building : contribute to roadmap, investor readiness, and hiring future engineers.

Who You Are

• Based in Berlin and available for in-person collaboration during the KIEZ program.
• 3+ years experience as a full-stack or backend engineer
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), API design, infra-as-code, CI/CD.
• Curious and hands-on with LLM/AI integration (prompting, APIs, or RAG pipelines).
• Bonus : experience in fintech, energy, or SaaS/ML platforms.

You’re someone who:

• Can move fast without breaking things—but knows when to slow down and design properly.
• Aligns engineering decisions with business and product goals.
• Values security, clarity, and performance.

Why Join Us?

• Impact that matters : help accelerate renewable energy at a global scale.
• Early ownership : shape product, architecture, and engineering culture.
• Build with purpose : work at the intersection of AI, finance, and energy.
• Berlin ecosystem : be part of TU Berlin / KIEZ innovation hub alongside leading climate-tech founders.

Commitment

• Full-time (40 hrs/week)
• Funded by KIEZ/EXIST program + early customer pilots.
• Compensation : program-backed stipend + equity path for the right candidate.

If you’re excited about LLMs, AWS, and building agentic systems for real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.
