Your mission

As Senior Marketing Manager — Trends & Innovation (m/f/d) , you will actively shape how our marketing will develop in the coming years.

You're not just watching what's changing in the market. You evaluate which of these are relevant to us , translate developments into concrete marketing approaches and consistently bring new ideas from initial impetus to implementation.

In doing so, you move between strategy, innovation, technology and communication — with plenty of creative leeway and direct influence on our future market and customer approach.

What do you do with us

• Identify and classify trends: You identify relevant developments in marketing, customer experience, technology, AI, digital business models and changing customer behavior and derive concrete opportunities for us from this.
• Use AI wisely: You identify areas of application for generative AI, automation and data-based marketing technologies and put them into practice together with relevant stakeholders.
• Bringing innovation to marketing: You develop new marketing approaches, formats and use cases and test them pragmatically — from the first experiment to a scalable concept.
• Rethink customer experiences: You question existing customer journeys and develop ideas on how we can reach our customers more easily, more effectively and personally.
• Develop new target groups and potential: You analyse market and customer developments and use them to develop innovative approaches for positioning, offers, content and campaigns.
• Translating strategy into implementation: You don't turn trends into presentations for the drawer, but specific initiatives, pilots and marketing measures with measurable added value.
• Set impulses in the company: You bring in new perspectives, convince different stakeholders and create enthusiasm for new ideas.
• Use networks: You work closely with specialist departments, sales, product managers and other units in the Deutsche Telekom environment as well as with external partners and service providers.

What sets you apart

You are not a classic marketing generalist who simply manages existing measures. You are curious, analytical and effective — and enjoy questioning things and making them better.

Ideally, you should bring:

• several years of relevant professional experience in strategic marketing, innovation management, digital marketing, customer experience or a comparable environment
• a keen sense of social, technological and marketing trends
• Experience in developing concrete concepts, campaigns or new solutions from trends and insights
• Profound understanding of modern digital marketing tools and channels
• practical experience or high level of application security in using generative AI and new marketing technologies
• strategic strength combined with a true hands-on mentality
• the ability to communicate complex relationships in a comprehensible and convincing way
• Security in stakeholder management and the joy of interdisciplinary cooperation
• entrepreneurial thinking and the courage to try out new paths
• a good understanding of data, KPIs and the measurability of marketing impact

Experience in the insurance sector is welcome, but not necessarily decisive for us. It is more important to us that you bring new perspectives and have the desire to actively develop an industry with great transformation potential.
