Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Projektvertrieb

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for commercial project business across North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.
• Identify, qualify, and win new project opportunities for hydronic systems, control solutions, valves, and balancing applications.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, planners, contractors, OEMs, installers, distributors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Influence project specifications early by positioning Danfoss solutions as the preferred choice for efficient HVAC systems.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance to customers, supporting projects from initial concept through quotation, negotiation, and order placement.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive regional growth.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in key account management, project sales, business development, or technical sales within HVAC, hydronics, building technologies , or a related industry.
• Solid understanding of hydronic heating and cooling systems, HVAC applications, valves, controls, or energy-efficient building solutions.
• Experience working with consultants, planners, contractors, OEMs, distributors, or other stakeholders involved in commercial building projects.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, combined with a customer-focused and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles, develop project pipelines, and translate customer needs into business opportunities.
• Fluent German and good English language skills, with willingness to travel regularly within North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.
