Sodastream: PR & Communication Dach (m/w/d)

As part of our Digital Marketing & MarCom Team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and our Global HQ to translate brand and communication priorities into impactful PR strategies and activations. You will lead our external PR agencies, build strong media relationships, and drive compelling storytelling across brand, lifestyle, and corporate communications.

Beyond traditional PR, you will take ownership of our LinkedIn presence and identify opportunities to amplify campaigns and brand messages through earned media. Working within an integrated marketing environment, you will help connect PR with broader digital, social media, and influencer marketing activities to maximize communication impact.

Responsibilities

• Supporting DACH PR & Earned Communications: Own and coordinate PR activities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, ensuring consistent communication priorities, messaging, and strategic alignment across all three markets.
• Steer PR Agencies & External Partners: Lead and manage PR agencies across DACH, including briefing, prioritization, execution oversight, and quality assurance to ensure effective and high-quality earned communications.
• Brand & Lifestyle PR and Oversee Product PR: Own brand and lifestyle PR planning and agency-led activations, while coordinating Product PR activities in close collaboration with the respective Brand Teams.
• Own LinkedIn & Coordinate Corporate Communications: Lead LinkedIn editorial planning, content direction, and performance management, while coordinating corporate communications, issues management, and reactive PR within defined governance and approval processes.
• Drive Earned Media Amplification: Identify and leverage opportunities to amplify brand, category, and campaign communications through relevant earned media activities, ensuring integration with the broader Marketing Communications strategy.
• Own PR Performance & Optimization: Oversee earned-media monitoring, consolidated DACH reporting, agency performance, and continuous optimization based on coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and message effectiveness.
• Support Integrated MarCom Activities: Support cross-functional Marketing Communications initiatives, including content creation, adaptation of communication assets, influencer marketing activities, and other MarCom needs, ensuring alignment with overall brand and marketing priorities.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Relevant Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in PR, earned media, corporate communications, or integrated marketing communications, ideally within FMCG or consumer-facing brands.
• Agency Management: Proven experience in managing external PR agencies, from strategic briefing and prioritization to execution, quality assurance, and performance evaluation.
• PR & Communications Expertise: Strong understanding of brand, lifestyle, and product PR, media relations, and corporate communications, with the ability to turn communication priorities into impactful PR activities.
• Strategic & Hands-on Mindset: Ability to translate overarching brand strategies into actionable communication plans while actively supporting campaigns, product launches, content development, and local market activations.
• Digital & Social Media Understanding: Good understanding of digital and social media communications, with the ability to identify opportunities for integrated storytelling and amplification.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams, external partners, and international stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Corporate Communications & Reputation: Experience in corporate communications, issues management, and strong messaging skills.
• Analytical & Results-Oriented: Ability to evaluate PR effectiveness, earned-media performance, and agency results, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• International Mindset: Experience working across DACH markets or within an international organization is an advantage.
• Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
