Junior Project Manager in the field of Software Development and Operations

Your profile:

• University degree in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Software Development, Earth Observation/Geoinformation or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in managing software development projects and operational service environments
• Strong project management skills, particularly in risk management, stakeholder management and reporting
• Proven ability to work effectively with international project teams and clients, demonstrating trust building and clear communication
• Proficiency in software development methodologies and modern cloud architecture solutions
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken, C1 level according to CEFR)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
• Self motivated and independent working style combined with strong collaboration skills

Desirable knowledge:

• Familiarity with modern DevOps principles, CI/CD workflows, automation
• Knowledge of Earth Observation concepts, public and commercial satellite missions, data formats and providers
• Experience with ESA/EC/Copernicus projects and institutions
