Introduction

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

At Charles, we're pioneering the future of Conversational Commerce - where ecommerce brands engage in personalized, high-value conversations with customers at scale.

About us

It's better to have a conversation

charles is a conversational AI and CRM for consumer brands that attracts, converts, services and retains customers via AI agents, marketing automations, bulk campaigns, or an inbox for human agents. We help brands maximize customer engagement and revenue through conversational channels such as WhatsApp. Businesses can reach customers interactively, collect data to deepen customer understanding and guide them to targeted offers that convert. charles' AI agents deliver hyper-personalized experiences at scale while ensuring enterprise-grade security and GDPR compliance.

Founded by Kapten & Son co-founder, Artjem Weissbeck, and ex-McKinsey e-commerce lead, Andreas Tussing, charles is backed by Salesforce Ventures, Accel, and HV Capital. We received €30 million in total funding and are now pushing for the next big stage of our growth. This makes now a good time for you to join us on this journey!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an Account Executive at charles, you own deals end to end: from finding the right prospects to closing and handing over to a happy customer. You bring hunger and drive; we bring a strong product, a growing playbook and people who want you to win. Whether you're stepping into your first closing role or already have a few quarters of quota behind you, you'll help grow charles in the DACH market by bringing Conversational AI to leading consumer brands.

Own your deals across the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation and closing

Build pipeline in the DACH market with consumer brands in e-commerce, retail and D2C

Engage decision-makers like CMOs, Heads of CRM and E-Commerce Leads

Understand each prospect's business and turn that into a tailored, compelling pitch

Hit and beat your targets, with uncapped commission when you do

Share what you hear in the market and help shape our sales playbook

A hunter mindset: you go out and create opportunities instead of waiting for them
Fluent German (C2, native or near-native) and confident business English
Strong communicator: you can pitch to a founder as well as a Head of Marketing
Coachable and ambitious: you seek feedback, learn fast and take ownership of your numbers
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment

2+ years of B2B SaaS sales with a track record of hitting quota
Background in MarTech, CRM, AdTech or e-commerce
A network in the DACH e-commerce or consumer brand space
