At its foundation is a robust, scalable, industry-grade backend and enabler platform that supports all TV clients, services and integrations.

About the role

As a Lead Product Manager Commercial & TV Streaming (m/f/d/x) , you will play a key role in shaping the future of our innovative TV streaming technologies and leading them from strategic vision to market leadership. This senior position calls for exceptional expertise in product strategy and lifecycle management. You will be responsible for the product lifecycle from end to end, ensuring compelling customer experiences and strong commercial results.

You will help shape the roadmap, define key priorities and drive their delivery in an agile environment. Strong stakeholder management and a solid grasp of KPI management will be essential as you lead cross-functional initiatives and make data-driven decisions. With more than 10 years of experience, you will use your leadership skills to inspire teams and help shape our product portfolio.

More specifically, we are looking for a Director of Product Management for TV Backend and Enabler Platforms to take on the following responsibilities:

• Drive delivery of the backend roadmap across all TV backend subsystems and enabler platforms.
• Own the product and business architecture for the TV backend and enabler landscape.
• Lead Product Owners, backend engineering teams and operations in delivering the roadmap.
• Manage vendors and take responsibility for backend partners, suppliers and solution providers.
• Own technical and product KPIs, such as availability, latency, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure continuous quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Lead, develop and grow the Product Management function for TV Backend and Enablers.

Requirements

You have at least 10 years of professional experience in Product Management, ideally focused on TV, pay TV, streaming or media platforms. You bring in-depth knowledge of TV backend areas such as content, metadata, playback, Digital Rights Management (DRM), entitlements, personalization or analytics.

You have a proven track record of leading Product Managers or Product Owners in technically complex environments, as well as end-to-end ownership of delivery for backend or platform products. You also have:

• A solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, scalability, reliability and performance trade-offs.
• Experience owning system-wide KPIs such as availability, latency, stability and cost.

Preferred qualifications

• Proven product leadership in large OTT, streaming or TV platform ecosystems is more important than experience in traditional telecommunications environments.
• Experience with large-scale TV, streaming or media platforms serving millions of end customers.
• Experience at major OTT providers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ or Apple TV+, or at leading TV backend technology providers in areas such as content platforms, DRM, personalization or playback.
• In-depth knowledge of key TV backend technologies, such as content ingestion and metadata, streaming and playback control, DRM, entitlements, personalization, recommendations or analytics platforms.
• Experience launching or integrating third-party TV backend technologies into complex, internally developed platforms.
• Familiarity with scalable delivery models and platform modernization in high-availability environments.
• Previous experience at Director level or in a senior Product Management role.
